The insert has a slotted bottom with a void underneath large enough to hold 1-2 60g two way humidity packs. 100% cigar contact cedar interior made from 3/16 solid cedar.
You can purchase an OPTIONAL interior lid. The lid will be two parts - front facing plywood with a solid cedar backer that seals the cedar box with the cigars. It’s 100% cedar contact for cigars.
While this lid will add more cedar to help buffer the humidity and age cigars, it is entirely unnecessary. The lid comes with personalized engraving of your choice and an integrated hygrometer. If you choose no lid, a loose hygrometer is included. NOTE; the lid underside, which seals the box is a thinner veneer piece of cedar attached to a different non-cedar wood on top.
